Mario Marathon raises over $68K for charity

If you haven't checked it out already, drop by the Mario Marathon, where a team of ten has, at time of writing, raised $68,603.21 and signed up for up to 786 levels from a range of Super Mario Bros. games. They've been at it for close to two and a half days and are over half way through, with only 60 levels still unpaid for by generous (and possibly sadistic) observers. All funds accrued will be channeled into Child's Play's coffers.

Thanks, Joystiq.
