Battlefield Heroes turns three, celebrates with new map

Battlefield Heroes has turned three today and to celebrate, EA's introducing a new map into the F2P shooter plus more to celebrate the anniversary.

Called Fortress Frenzy, the map will see players "fighting for victory on a small island, where the only way on or off is over six bridges located on each side of the isle."

The mission system in the game is set to be expanded upon as part of the anniversary with more chances to gain Valor Points and Experience Points.

And from today until July 1, players who log in during that period will receive a party pack for either Royals or Nationals. The pack, regardless of which side you're from, will consist of a Battlefield Heroes Birthday Shirt, a Tricycle Emote that lasts for 3-days and a new Treasure Chest Key.
