"The way we're developing Homefront 2 is very isolated," from THQ says Crytek

Cyrtek has said the restructuring going on at THQ has had "zero" impact on the development of Homefront 2.

Speaking with CVG, the firm's CEO Cevat Yerli said there hasn't been any "tangible change whatsoever," in the firm's relations with the publisher which has been rather hands-off since handing development of the sequel over to the firm last year.

"To be fair, the way we're developing Homefront 2 is very isolated anyway," said Yerli. "We're treating it as our own new IP and at the same time THQ is respecting us and saying, 'you guys know what you're doing' and telling us the story they'd like to have, which we're collaborating creatively on."

Homefront 2 is slated for release in in THQ’s FY14, which if you look at your calender, takes place between April 2013 and March 2014.
