Dungeons of Dredmor receives update, free DLC and Steam Workshop

The Roguelike title Dungeons of Dredmor has received a bounty of new content today including a free expansion pack, and the release of the Dungeons of Dredmor Steam Workshop.

The Dungeons of Dredmor Steam Workshop allows you to create and share all new monsters, items, skills, spells and dungeon rooms. Creation tutorials can be found over at Dredmod.com. To download fan-made mods, simply head to the Steam Workshop page.

The Dungeons of Dredmor: You Have To Name The Expansion Pack features "swarm of new items, enemies, rooms, skills, and things to generally make your life Better and/or More Full of Death." The expansion is entirely free to owners of the base game and available to download now through Steam.

The latest update to the game includes the addition of Caltrops, more achievements, a 'zillion' crash bug fixes, greater support for older Mac OS X based machines, and many other changes. The update page also states that piracy is now "significantly more ... interesting."

For gamers who do not yet own Dungeons of Dredmor, the title is currently 70% off on Steam to celebrate the update's release.
