EA Canada creating new action IP

SSX developer EA Canada is in the midst of hiring for a brand new action IP, according to a recent job listing.

The IP looks set to feature a heavy online infrastructure, according to the list, with EA looking for the successful applicant to "drive the player progression experience to ensure a deep and addictive persistent online experience" that has a "deep knowledge of the action/shooter game genre".

Don't expect any news this week in LA neither, by the sounds of it: this thing sound ridiculously early, according to some of the wording EA mentioned in the listing as the applicant would need to "plan and define all components of the game, including its setting, structure, rules, story flow, characters, objects, vehicles, interface design and game modes."

Yeah, don't expect an announcement tonight.

Thanks, Videogamer.
