Activision has announced Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure was the number one, best-selling console and handheld video game title between January and April 30, 2012 worldwide based on revenue inclusive of toys and accessories, according to NPD Group, GfK, Charttrack and Activision internal estimates. The game was released in October.
The latest Humble Bundle includes some rather nice game, all of which have received a Very Positive rating on Steam.

Nintendo turned down the opportunity to partner with Activision on Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, according to a Toys for Bob feature on Polygon.
Skylanders – the toy-based game franchise from developer Toys For Bob and publisher Activision has amassed a whopping $500 million in US sales since the original game Spyro’s Adventure launched in 2011.
