Everything about this “leak” reads like a textbook troll, except for the content: what could possibly be the first Halo 4 multiplayer footage.
When you watch the video below, you’ll see all the warning signs. It’s off-screen; low quality; filmed in someone’s shed; and the allegedly leaked material is on a VHS cassette. You’d laugh it off if so many Halo fans weren’t busily analysing every frame and finding plenty of matches with what we know of the game already.
Microsoft didn’t have any comment on the video but did confirm a beta is underway.
“We are conducting an internal beta test of Halo 4 which is a standard development practice for most video games. We have no plans for a public multiplayer beta for Halo 4,” hte platform holder told Kotaku.
