SEGA has released stats regarding the closed beta of Phantasy Star Online 2.

Here’s a few, courtesy of Andriasang:

  • 131,000 have logged in.
  • Max simultaneous login of 23,500 people on April 21; most overall logins, at close to 80,000.
  • 71.2% of user characters are female.
  • 38.9% of user characters are Human, followed by 31.6% Numan.
  • Hunter was the most popular class, followed by Ranger and Force.
  • 228,000 characters created.
  • 11,000 bug reports filed.

An open beta test will be preceded by a “pre-open beta,” according to producer Satoshi Sakaii. The test will be conducted in order to ensure the open beta is issue free.

The pre-open test will be held in the latter half of June.

The MMO’s out this summer for PC in Japan, this winter for iOS and Android and next spring for PlayStation Vita.
