Quickflix PS3 Australia adds HBO content

Quickflix has announced a special deal for Australian PlayStation 3 users, offering the first month of subscription for $5 rather than the usual $20. The deal is to celebrate the addition of HBO programming to the service; check out the new content on offer through the break. Game of Thrones isn’t included. Sorry.

Quickflix also recently expanded to Xbox Live in Australia.

    TellTale Games was unveiled as developing a Game of Thrones title at the VGX awards over the weekend, but HBO has now confirmed that that’s ‘titles’ plural. The deal between both parties has been explained in some more detail by the TV firm. Still no word if you can decapitate that horse though.
