Warner releasing free-to-play Cartoon Universe this fall in US, hits UK in 2013

Warner has announced the first title to be released out of WB Games Montréal will be the free-to-play, online game Cartoon Universe. The firm states the game will contain a "safe, social environment for young kids to go on adventures, solve puzzles and play games with their favourite Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo characters." Players will be able to create customizable characters, collect achievements and experience "unexpected adventures in Cartoon Universe’s distinct worlds." Areas of the game include Looney Tunes island, a Scooby-Doo island and even the chance to join the Mystery, Inc. gang to "explore spooky environments and solve mysteries." The game is set to launch in North America this fall and in the UK and other international markets in 2013.
