Black Cat crosses Parker's path in The Amazing Spider-Man

Two images of Marvel superheroine/villainess Black Cat as depicted in Beenox's The Amazing Spider-Man have turned up online, courtesy of the game's website.

Our slinky heroine, whose real name is Felicia Hardy, first appeared in in the comic series back in 1979.

She is the daughter of a famous cat burglar, who after suffering a traumatic event her first year in college, became self-trained in various fighting styles and acrobatics.

She decided to continue the family business of a burglar, tried to break her dad out of prison, and eventually meets up Spider-Man, only to fall in love with the fella.

Long story really, and since we don't have much to go on as far as her story in the game is concerned, we can only assume it will mirror the comics.

The Amazing Spider-Man releases on 3DS, DS, PS3, Move, Wii, and Xbox 360 in late June, just in time for the movie of the same name.
