Rock Paper Shotgun has totted up the amounts pledged to gaming Kickstarters launched since March 1, and arrived at an astounding conclusion – over $10 million has been thrown at developers in just a few weeks.

RPS’s figures include the probable funding of a couple of high profile projects, but not the literally thousands of others of more modest means, so are probably fairly accurate; hit the link above for a run down of the methods used.

We’ll try and get some concrete numbers out of Kickstarter; in the meantime, check out the massive numbers on Double Fine Adventure, Shadowrun Returns, Wasteland 2, Moebius, Grim Dawn and Leisure Suit Larry.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. For more information, go here.
