Patrick Bach takes charge of DICE as temporary CEO

Battlefield series producer Patrick Bach has temporary taken the reigns at DICE as CEO, taking over from Karl Magnus Troedsson.

Troedsson is currently on paternity leave, with Bach set to stay in the role for at least four months.

"We will be trying to spread out the tasks of the CEO on a number of people. I will of course be responsible for the results but we will split the daily tasks," he said.

The studio launched Battlefield 3 last October, and Bach reckons the success of the shooter has given the studio a big wave of momentum.

"The spirits are really high and we are very excited that the game was so successful, as we laid a lot on the line for it."
