Football Manager Handheld hits Android this week

The mobile version of Sega's popular Football Manager is due on Android on Wednesday.

The management sim is already available on iDevice in addition to the core PC version.

The mobile version includes several leagues to choose from and clubs spread across 12 countries (Australia, Belgium, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Spain and Wales), and includes an exclusive, short-form Challenge Mode suited to a portable title.

Sports Interactive director Miles Jacobson said an Android version has been in demand since the first iOS release.

Football Manager Handheld will launch through Google Play in English, French, Italian and Spanish before heading to other Android app stores over the next few weeks. You'll need OS 2.2 or above to play it.
