Pain snowboarding spin-off shelved

Former Warrior's lair developer Idol Minds has had at least two projects shut down by Sony recently.

Superannuation found a reference to Pain Boarders in the resume of a current Idol Minds staffer.

Pain Boarders is noted in between Pain and Ruin on a presumably chronological list and is classified as cancelled.

As Superannuation notes, this is the fourth Idol Minds game Sony has cancelled. Vita showcase title Ruin, now retitled Warrior's Lair, is now in the hands of Sony's San Diego team.

Idol Minds is currently working on the Ratchet and Clank HD Collection, which is due in May in Europe and November in the US; Sony may have pulled Warrior's Lair in order to speed the collection's development.

2008 PlayStation Network hit Pain is the most recent release from Idol Minds; it is probably best known for its work on the Cool Boarders series as well as a NeoPets PS2 release.
