Former ship doctor named Bones is latest character reveal for Risen 2

Deep Silver has released a couple shots of a new character from Piranha Bytes’ RPG, Risen 2: Dark Waters.

The fella is a former ship’s doctor and talented distiller named Bones. Yes, a doctor named Bones, folks.

Instead of a doctor in a ship flying through space, he was the resident medicine man on a waterborne ship and ultimately betrayed by his mates who left him to “rot on a small island for no reason.”

After an initial period of desperation, he integrated himself with the natives of Maracai Bay, thus the reason for his voodoo styled face paint.

Bones is a bit mad, as he’s infected with the jungle fever (giggety), has bouts of persistent paranoia, and has a tendency to throw “choleric temper tantrums.”

Interesting fella, there, and he can become a member of your team in the game.

Risen 2 is set for release in the UK April 27 on PC and May 25 on PS3 and Xbox 360.
