Ryse hitting milestones, "doing really well," says Crytek

Crytek has confirmed that Kinect hack 'n' slash Ryse is still doing the rounds at the company, confirming to CVG it's hitting development milestones and is currently "doing really well".

"It's our annual thing; we show a trailer for Ryse at E3," joked games GM Nick Button-Brown in a GDC interview.

"It's going really, really well. The team actually delivered a milestone yesterday, which was quite nice. It's kind of good to see that.

"We're really happy with it and at some stage will be showing and giving more information about it. Unfortunately we're kind of constrained by our publisher."

The title was announced at E3 2010, but went underground afterwards, only to come back with a name unveil and new trailer at E3 last year. It has since, yet again, gone under.
