Battlefield 3 patch now in console network certification

A new update for Battlefield 3 is looming, hopefully bringing it with a brand new flame war on nerfs, buffs and noobtubes.
Global franchise community manager Daniel Matros confirmed via Twitter that the multi-platform patch has been submitted to Microsoft and Sony for certification.
Details of the patch's contents have not been revealed, but may prepare the core game for an upcoming expansion or address balancing issues.,
Going by past turnaround times, the patch should arrive within a week or two.
