Move support included with BioShock Infinite PS3 day one, confirms Levine

Irrational boss Ken Levine has confirmed the PS3 version of BioShock Infinite will have Move support out of the box from day one.

Levine confirmed Move support back at E3 last year, but nothing has been seen on it or how it will work within the game since.

Talking about the support for the motion controller in general, he compared it to describing music in an interview with Eurogamer.

"Talking about Move support is like talking about music,"said Levine. "It's hard to do.

"You've got to put the thing in somebody's hand and say, 'here's our Move support. How does it feel to you?'

"We're definitely going to be doing that at some point. But it's hard to talk about because it's like, 'hey, does it feel good? Does it feel right? Does it break down barriers of interface for you?'

"That's the goal of Move, right? It's to make you forget you're playing with a controller. It's to make that much more transparent. The proof's going to be in the pudding."

Infinite launches on October 16 in the US and October 19 in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.
