BlazBlue beats out UMvC3 as best reviewed Vita fighter

Arc Systems Works is pleased to announce that BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend's position as reigning champ of Vita fighters.

Blazblue holds an 83 average on Metacritic as well as being the top-rated brawler on the PlayStation Store in Europe.

There isn't a lot of competition on the handheld this close to launch, but it's beating out the popular Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and even rated higher than Uncharted: Golden Abyss, the system's best seller. In fact, BlazBlue is rated equal fourth overall.

The fighter hails from Guilty Gear creators Arc System Works and is highly regarded among competition level fighters. The Vita version supports ad-hoc multiplayer between different region's releases, even with language barriers.

The developer has released a new trailer to celebrate the game's critical reception, which you can check out below.
