First Halo 4 in-game shots get out before embargo

Gamerlive TV‘s jumped the gun on the first two gameplay shots of Halo 4 ahead of an official embargo later today at 2pm.

The shots – which, quite frankly, do look incredifuckingble – were due to form part of a media drop from last week’s Xbox Spring Showcase in San Francisco this afternoon.

On GAF, Team Klimt – aka 343 Industries’ assistant director of photography Paul Fetherstone – said the shots were “100% untouched”.

The in-game media is the first we’ve seen of the shooter since it was announced at E3 last June as part of a new trilogy of games in the series, known as the Reclaimer Trilogy.
