Rumor - Black Ops 2 to release in November

A place holder posted on French retail chain Fnac's website has claimed Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be released in November.

The information appeared on the Spanish end of the retailer's portal before quickly vanishing, but Gamepur luckily snapped a shot of it.

The add said "November '12", which would be in line with the first Black Ops release in November 2010 and just about every other Call of Duty title - all tend to release during the first, full week of the month between the 8th and the 11th, depending.

So, obvious November release window is obvious.

Earlier this month, Amazon France posted a listing for the game before it was, like with Fnac's, quickly removed and many French sites reporting the retailer's slip-up were reportedly blacklisted by Activision France for refusing to remove the offensive information.

All was eventually resolved with olive branches handed out to all.

We'll send a mail to Activision on this, but we don't expect the firm to confirm anything until it's ready.

Thanks, MCV.
