SOE "working on a plan" with ProSieben to keep communities together

SOE has released a new statement regarding its deal with ProSiebenSat.1 Games in Europe, and said it's "working on a plan to keep our communities together."

The statement was made by SOE’s director of global community relations, Linda “Brasse” Carlson, regarding the firm's EU deal which would segregate US and EU players for SOE MMOs.

Users voiced the most concern over the Alaplaya deal, which according to reports can delete accounts inactive after 90 days - which for an MMO player is a no-no.

The firm has also been accused of publishing real names on past-due accounts – a claim the firm denied.

Games which would be affected by the change are: Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures, Magic: The Gathering – Tactics, PoxNora, DC Universe Online, EverQuest II, Free Realms, PlanetSide 2, and EverQuest Next.

Hopefully, SOE can get something worked out so US and EU players can continue to play together.

Thanks, TenTonHammer.
