Enter Call of Cthulhu Competition, win a copy of Astounding Stories from 1936 featuring H.P. Lovecraft

Red Wasp Design has announced a competition around its RPG Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land in which you could win an original 1936 copy of a pulp fiction magazine Astounding Stories which contains part H.P. Lovecraft's At The Mountains of Madness.

The copy of the pulp magazine also contains cult illustrations by Howard V. Brown, who brought Lovecraft's dark imaginings to life.

"Lovecraft was famous for his distinctive writing style; long descriptions with lots of adjectives, using obscure words, plenty of indescribable and nameless things crawling through the text," said Red Wasp's Tomas Rawlings.

"He was an evocative writer, which is part of the reason why he is still so widely read today. We want people to go Lovecraftian-crazy in reviewing the game with gibbous, visceral pleasure and wild Bacchanalian abandon."

In order to win, you will need to submit a review to the App Store or rewrite the text of an existing review of Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land in the style of H.P. Lovecraft. After you do so, you will need to submit your review to the App Store then email a copy of the review, your App Store username, the country store it was posted on to "contact at redwaspdesign dot com" with the subject line "Review competition."

The developers will feature the best entries on their site and pick the winner on Friday, March 9.
