EscapeVektor coming to 3DS, Vita in 2012

Spirit Hunters and Pop developer Nnooo has announced a 3DS and Vita release for its award-winning WiiWare title, escapeVektor.

Creative director Nic Watt said Nnooo originally planned to release the game as four chapters, but will now roll out all planned content as one title on both new handhelds.

The 3DS version has backgrounds which "pulse" with the soundtrack, taking advantage of its stereoscopic capacities, while the Vita version ties in with near. Both will feature new enemies, obstacles, levels and online leaderboards.

EscapeVektor is a classic retro arcade game which has player's attempting to escape the console's CPU and unlocking new abilities as the story progresses. An early build of the 3DS version will be showcased at GDC, with release of both new portable versions expected in late 2012.

Nnooo is the only self-published Australian developer working on Vita titles.
