SSX demo due in next week’s console update

We’ll finally get our hands on a taster of the SSX reboot in just a few days.

Speaking to fan podcast The Ubercast, creative director Todd Batty said the demo should hit Xbox Live on February 21, worldwide.

On the PlayStation Network, the demo will release in the US on February 21 and reach Europe on February 22.

The demo will feature one primary playable character, Zoe, but you can unlock Mac by referring a friend.

Ridenet will be enabled, and the demo will cover two tutorials including a sky diving lesson, and four events.

An ad for the demo spotted on Neogaf, suggests EA may have delayed the demo release – or jumped the gun marketing-wise. EA Sports promised a demo for the snowboarding title in July last year.

SSX releases on playStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 28 in the US, and March 2 in Europe.

Thanks, Colin!
