Starhawk to get mix of free, premium DLC

Lightbox third-person action title Starhawk will get a mix of free and premium DLC post-launch, Sony Santa Monica has said.

Senior producer Harvard Bonin, who's been helping the studio with the game's development as part of SSM's involvement, said the content would be "surprising".

"Actually, I can't go into specifics, but we do have a bunch of free DLC planned...and it might be surprising," he said to RespawnAction (via Shack).

"We, of course, have stuff we are happy to take your money for, too! We rethought our DLC strategy and we'll reveal more about it as we get closer to release."

Starhawk, the spiritual successor to Warhawk, is set to release later this year on PS3.
