Rumor: 7Sixty to publish HurricaneX2 on Xbox 360

By Stephany Nunneley, Thursday, 5 January 2012 22:05 GMT

A rumor posted over on Siliconera has 7Sixty working on bringing HurricaneX2, a 3D Kung Fu fighting game developed by a Chinese Kung Fu practitioner, to Xbox 360. The game was created as a ways for players to “express themselves in the form of martial arts”, using the “smooth control of various Kung Fu moves acquired in the game.” Created by Chinese developer You Yun Tech, it is deeply rooted in Chinese culture and philosophy, and the gameplay emphasizes “timing and anticipation over brute strength.” The game was an entry in the 14th annual Independent Games Festival, held each year in San Francisco. You can watch videos for it below the break. Thanks, Joystiq.
