Rumor: Beyond Good and Evil 2 will release this generation

Unnamed sources cited by Xbox World 360 as saying that Michel Ancel's highly anticipated sequel will, in fact, release in this console generation. This comes despite Ancel himself making comments indicating that it will not make that deadline. XW360 writes in the latest issue, ""some sources are saying we'll see it this generation rather than next." Which is noncommittal at best. At worst it could mean "some sources are saying we'll see it this gen...but most disagree."

In an interview with GamesRadar in September, Ancel was asked if some technical difficulties he had mentioned were the reason why we would not see BG&E2 this generation. To which he replied, "Yeah, yeah. That's the reason."
