2K Australia working on BioShock: Infinite

2K Australia is once more collaborating with Irrational Games.

MCV Pacific reports 2K's Canberra studio is working with Irrational Games on BioShock: Infinite, having been given the news by a staffer.

This is the second BioShock game the ACT-based team has co-developed; it had previously collaborated with the Californian and Australian dual team 2K Marin on BioShock 2.

Prior to being reassigned to BioShock: Infinite, 2K Australia had been working under the 2K Marin banner on XCOM. The studio is now on at least its fourth name change, having been birthed as an Irrational Games satellite studio, renamed 2K Australia, folded into 2K Marin, and finally reverting to 2K Australia.

BioShock: Infinite is expected on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next year.
