Activision corrects simultaneous MW3 launch player count to 1.4 million

Activision's put out a notice correcting its initial figure of 3.3 million simultaneous users on multiplayer for launch day of Modern Warfare 3. The number now, according to the publisher, 1.4 million users. Acti reported last week 3.3 million users logged onto Xbox Live day one to play the shooter.
