Shinobi 3DS launch trailer breaks eight year series silence

By Brenna Hillier, Monday, 14 November 2011 01:12 GMT

Griptonite’s 3DS take on classic Sega property Shinobi has arrived on European shores and is expected in the US this week. Check out the launch trailer through the break.

The 3DS exclusive is played in traditional 2D fashion, and uses the console’s face keys with touch screen use primarily limited to mini-games. It’s the first entry in the series since 2003’s PS2 offering, Nightshade.

Expected earlier in the year, Shinobi 3DS was delayed by Sega in response to lower than expected 3DS hardware sales. It hits the US on November 15.
