Ubisoft has announced a second new iOS game set in the Assassin’s Creed universe, a real-time board game called Recollections.

Due sometime in the holiday season, the iPad-native title features 20 missions and up to ten hours of campaign play in addition to multiplayer.

Players must collect cards featuring a wide range characters from the games, lovingly represented in the series’ signature art style.

Gameplay is by tactical battle, and has not been fully detailed.

No firm date or pricing details have been announced, but purchasing the game will unlock a bonus copy of the short film, Embers.

The new game comes in addition to Assassin’s Creed: Multiplayer Rearmed, which arrived on the Canadian App Store suddenly last week. Ubisoft mentioned the game in passing, but didn’t give an international release date.
