Marvelous switches financial forecast from showers to sunshine

Harvest Moon publisher Marvelous Entertainment has revised its half and full year forecasts, throwing out a gloomy loss in favour of a small profit.

On the backs of strong performances from 3DS action game Senran Kagura PSP RPG Grand Knights History, Marvelous has upped its first half sales forecast from ¥2,500 million to ¥2,812 million.

The updated forecast would have the publisher return a net gain of ¥192 million, as opposed to the net loss of ¥185 million it predicted in May.

Marvelous has also raised its full-year forecast, predicting sales of ¥12,000 million and with a net income of ¥3,140 million yen.

Marvelous is probably best known outside Japan for the Harvest Moon series. Its international arms include Marvelous US and Rising Star games.
