Rumour - Unannounced Final Fantasy localisation in the works

Veteran voice actor Steve Blum has apparently prematurely outed an unannounced Final Fantasy localisation.

"Just wrapped up some Marvel stuff. Also started on King for a new Final Fantasy. Look for it mates!" Blum tweeted, reportedly deleting the message almost immediately - but not before it was screencapped, although NovaCrystallis could not confirm the grab's veracity.

The tweet's rapid removal suggests the game Blum is working on is under wraps, with the most obvious contender being Final Fantasy Type-0.

The PSP title has not been confirmed for Western release, with the relatively low sales of PSP games outside Japan considered a risk factor by many major publishers.

Under its former title, Final Fantasy Agito XIII, Type-0 was considered part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series and therefore a major entry in the XIII sequence.

Steve Blum is a familiar voice to game and anime fans, appearing in Dragon Age: Origins, Bulletstorm, Madworld, Call of Duty, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy bebop and Naruto, among many other works.
