NBA 2K12 Legends Showcase to be premium DLC

2K has finally let slip some concrete details on its Legends Showcase DLC for NBA 2K12, including a premium price tag.

Although there's no release date beyond "holidays", the showcase has been priced, at $9.99 or regional equivalent on the PlayStation Network and 800 MS Points on Xbox Live.

Promising hours of additional content, the DLC allows access to a roster of over 150 all-time NBA greats, for use in games ranging from full 5v5 down to 1v1 battles, as well as 21, H-O-R-S-E, 2-on-2 Teammate Challenge and 3-on-3 Era Challenge. Present day players will be available for unlock, allowing you to mix and match your dream team.

Grabbing the DLC opens a new option in the main game, Classic Quick Match, letting you bring your Legends players into standard online multiplayer.

The imminent release of the Legends DLC was outed yesterday by the trophies included in a patch.
