Dead or Alive 5 gameplay looks brutal

An extended version of the debut Dead or Alive 5 trailer has appeared, showing off pre-alpha gameplay footage strongly reminiscent of the brawler we know and love.

Dead or Alive 5 was announced in the build up to the Tokyo Game Show; we're expecting it next year on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, an unusual departure for the strong Xbox franchise.
