Liquidator appointed to help Team Bondi with studio closure

It looks as though Team Bondi is set to close its doors, according to documents filed today with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission today.

The documents confirm that a liquidator has been appointed to the studio, and a Special Resolution to Wind Up Company document as well as a Notification of Resignation or Removal of Administrator was also filed, meaning the liquidator will start selling off assets at Team Bondi in order to pay the firm's creditors and take care of any miscellaneous debts.

Team Bondi's impending closure comes on the heels of the firm meeting with its creditors early last month. The studio went into administration early last month as well.

It was rumored for a time the firm was in negotiations with George Miller’s film studio KMM, which was looking to buy it out. KMM was also rumored to be hiring staff members and purchasing assets from the enbattled firm.

Thanks, Edge.
