Rumour: South African retailer advertises "online multiplayer pass" for Mass Effect 3

A South African retailer's advertised an "online multiplayer pass" for Mass Effect 3. This is starting to solid up a bit.

The pass is mentioned as part of an ad for the Collector's Edition of the final chapter of the BioWare sci-fi trilogy from the retailer.

Multiplayer has been rumoured on and off for months now behind the scenes, despite previous comments from BioWare in the past that multiplayer wouldn't be in.

Speculation also heightened towards a multiplayer reveal when EA said at a Vegas conference last week that it would be dropping "big news that a lot of you have been eagerly awaiting" for ME3 "within the week."

Xbox World 360's promised a reveal of the game's "killer new feature" for its next issue on October 25, thought to be the previously-mentioned "secret feature X."

Mass Effect 3 launches on March 6, 2012 in the US and March 9 in the UK on PS3, 360 and PC. Thanks, GAF.
