Nintendo has released The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition as part of its ongoing 25th Anniversary celebration for The Legend of Zelda. It’s available as a free DSiWare download, but for a “limited time only.” The game allows four player co-op and have been updated to include a new new single-player mode. The Legend of Zelda is a whopping 25 years old this year, and Nintendo is going the full nine yards in promoting the history of the series while also gearing up for the launch of Skyward Sword, the newest in the series and arguably the Wii’s swansong title.
Nintendo announced last week a free release of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords was heading to DSiWare, and it is the original Four Swords multiplayer game released on GameBoy Advance.
