ESRB rates I Am Alive: "These guys kept me as their pet, or mascot, or something"

This is literally out of nowhere: the ESRB's rated Ubisoft survival thriller I Am Alive, despite seeing near nothing official on the game in at least a year-and-a-half.

It was recently rated by the ratings body, which seems to suggest a release is at least close. The game's been in the works at Ubisoft Shanghai after being pulled from Darkworks after an E3 2008 reveal. A trailer of the game was recently leaked last month.

The ESRB, which gave the game an M for Mature, says there'll be blood, intense violence, sexual themes and strong language throughout, with sexual mistreatment implied at one stage.

"These guys kept me as their pet, or mascot, or something," reads a quote from the listing.
