Halo: CE Anniversary adds Headlong classic map to multiplayer

343 Industries has announced Breakneck, a remake of the classic Halo 2 map Headlong, will be included in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

Announced during the Tokyo Game Show, Breakneck takes you back to Headlong, a "skyscraper-hemmed construction site" with numerous vantage points and large central basin for vehicle combat for eight to 16 players.

Additionally at TGS, 343 Industries debuted and demoed the first Halo campaign level, Pillar of Autumn in its remastered form. It contains remastered audio and a more detailed introduction to game universe.

343 also revealed new details around the title update for Halo: Reach, which will include the Halo: Combat Evolved Magnum pistol and classic playlists. It also includes multiplayer fixes, balancing armour abilities as well as Armour Lock and Active Camo.

A beta playlist for the Reach update will go live on October 4 and will be open to all Reach players holding a Gold XBL membership.

Halo: CE Anniversary releases on November 15.
