Angry Birds downloaded over 350 million times, 300 million minutes played a day

Rovio GM Andre Stalbow has related to VentureBeat that Angry Birds has been downloaded over 350 million times, and users log more than 300 million minutes each day playing the title.

Stalbow also said the game's plush toy line which launched in December 2010, has moved over two million units by March 2011, and a million units are sold each month.

Same goes for Angry Birds t-shirts.

Due to the strong retail end of the game, Rovio plans to further its plans with merchandise, as well as turning Angry Birds into a "big entertainment franchise," Stalbow said.

A new round of funding for Rovio, could see the firm being worth over $1.2 billion.
