Uncharted 3 gets the sand art treatment from Natalya Netselya

By Stephany Nunneley, Thursday, 8 September 2011 16:16 GMT

Amazingly talented sand artist Natalya Netselya has released a video featuring her latest work using her favorite medium, and it’s the first one she has ever created for a video game, and what better one to base it on than Uncharted 3.

Posted over on the PS Blog, Netselya said she chose Uncharted 3 because it “provided the perfect backdrop” due to it taking place in the Arabian desert.

“It was fun for me to recreate an iconic character like Nathan Drake in some of the amazing settings from the latest game,” she said. “I’m sure you’ll recognise some familiar sights from Uncharted 3, and I hope you enjoy watching me bring them to life in sand.”

It is utterly fantastic, and you can watch it below. Grab a cuppa before you do, as it is over 9 minutes long. It’s worth it though.

In case you have missed out on her previous works, you can check out more videos of her through here.
