Is EA planning a Mass Effect Facebook game?

Some new clues have surfaced that may point to EA planning a new Facebook game based on the Mass Effect universe.


The crux of the argument is a new set of job postings that mention a "social game for gamers." It's not a rock solid argument, but the timing certainly points to a Mass Effect game.

EA's massively popular sci-fi series is due out in March of next year, which is another reason some are suggesting EA might be planning to release a social game. Dragon Age: Legends was released on Facebook not long before the release of Dragon Age 2 as well.

Inside Social Games has also pointed out that the Mass Effect series has 739,036 Likes, which is a very healthy starting point for any Facebook game.
