European News Wrap, August 26 - What happened today
What happened today? Deus Ex, that's what happened. That and a non-football fan getting the s**t kicked out of him in the PES 2012 demo. Amazing.
As it's 4pm, I should finally get off and play one of my most anticipated games of the year, right? If you had asked me this morning if that was the plan, that would have been yes. But i've since been transcribing an interesting phone call I had earlier today in relation to it. What is it? You'll find out in a bit.
In the meantime, news was quiet in the post-gamescom lull, but that didn't mean it stopped it. Here is said news:

I literally burst out laughing at that Nomad Midget shield bit. Anyone who seen it in Germany will know what I mean. But besides that, Borderlands 2 will be every bit as amazing as its predecessor, if what I seen from Cologne is a pointer. I also spoke to writer Anthony Birch.
