Deadly Premonition creator keen on sequel, prequel, and re-release

Hidetaka 'Swery' Suehiro has said he has plans to expand Deadly Premonition into a series in addition to current, unrelated projects.

Speaking to the Metro's GameCentral at gamescom, Swery said Access Games intends to release a special edition of the cult-favourite survival horror game, with updated graphics.

The oddball developer also mentioned the possibility of a prequel and sequel to the divisive game - although none of these projects are locked down.

However, Swery did note that he'd had interest from Western publishers for a new, non-Deadly Premonition project, possibly the mysterious game teased at the end of June.

Thanks, gamesradar.
