3DS Ambassador Program registration still open in Europe

If you failed to get on board the 3DS Ambassador Program before August 12, there's still hope.

Nintendo has announced that early adopters can still get in on the Program, which rewards the faithful with 20 free games next month, if they created a Friend code before the cut-off date, or still have the receipt.

If you fit in either of these categories, keep an eye on Ambassador.Nintendo-Europe.com, which will shortly provide options for getting registered, as well as allow you to check your registration went through.

A similar tool is available for Australian and US 3DS owners, although it's not clear whether these territories have alternate registration options. I'll chase that up.

Those who purchased a 3DS before its official price drop of August 12 are eligible for the Program and its attendant free games, and were asked to check in to the system's eShop to register.

Thanks, CVG.
