Resistance 3 still available in 3D TV bundle – for free

Some US retailers will honour Sony’s original intention to include Resistance 3 in its 3D display bundle by throwing the game in as a pre-order bonus.

Those who pre-order the bundle at Amazon or Gamestop will receive Resistance 3 absolutely free.

The Insomniac shooter is a free extra on top of the included Motorstorm Apocalypse, which Sony recently replaced it with.

Other details of the bundle remain unchanged. For $500, you can grab a PlayStation branded 3D display, HDMI cable, and one pair of shuttered glasses. The display includes support for a second, independent image feed to another viewer, allowing for “split screen” multiplayer across the whole display. It’s currently expected to release at the end of the year.

Thanks, Joystiq.
