All-new character for SSX unveiled - Tane Mumea

EA Sports has dropped a new character reveal for SSX, showing off the first totally new and original boarder for the reboot.

Known as Tane Mumea, he's the first character shown that isn't returning from past SSX games. So far to date, characters from both SSX and SSX Tricky have been announced, but no-one from SSX3 has been announced.

The game's Facebook promises that there'll be "a series of Character Inspiration Blogs" coming from producer Sean Smillie, beginning this Thursday.

SSX launches in 2012 for PS3 and 360.
